Sorry, no. We are a wholesaler only set up for business with other companies, independent workers or freelancers, registered organisations or governmental institutions. If you need to buy small quantities, please refer to your local retail store. Thank you for your understanding.

Multi-lite supply lighting traders with the option to set up a Trading Account, especially if you are going to be a returning customer.  This makes the ordering process much quicker and easier for future trading together.  Our Sales team will send you our credit application form for you to complete and return to our office.  Our Accounts team will review the application and inform you once the account is open on our system along with the agreed Terms of your account.   Where credit is not offered on your account, you would be required to pre-pay for your orders.

We accept all major credit and debit cards for payment but prefer to receive payment via Bank Transfer where possible.

You are buying from one of the world’s largest specialty lighting distributors for major global brands such as OSRAM and PHILIPS lighting. And in our case, this is not a phrase but truth. Our parent company has been established since 1988 and constantly growing since the beginning. MULTI-LITE owns the ground and buildings of its headquarters in Reinbek near Hamburg, Germany and has an average inventory at a value of 1.5 million EUR in stock, employing over 100 staff supplying some of the largest lamp distributors, retailers and entertainment lighting companies across all corners of the world.

It depends: While we have most lamps for the entertainment and movie lighting industry in stock, we are set up to despatch on the day of order, for credit account clients. General lead times for PHILIPS and OSRAM lamps in their stock is one week after our order which we will place after all negotiations with you have been finalised. Other manufacturer’s lead times can be longer. Our sales team will keep you abreast of the situstion with your enquiry or order with updates if we need to collect or combine several orders to one shipment.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide free of charge samples.  We do consider each request and base a final decision on the trading history we have together, the quantity/value of a potential enquiry.   Our general policy is to charge for the sample lamp plus delivery, but then consider providing a refund against this sample invoice should an order be placed for the full project within an agreed timeframe.  This agreement would need to be placed in writing and each request is treated individually based on the criteria mentioned.
We request bank transfer BACS payment as our first choice.  Where and when this is not possible, we can accept all major credit and debit cards to cover the value of the requested payment.
We are able to provide quotes and invoices in Euro or GBP Sterling.  As standard we set up accounts based on £ GBP Sterling payments and invoicing.   At the point of your quote/order/invoice, we would need to be informed if you wish to be priced/invoiced in an EURO currency as this may incur fees if this has to be changed post invoice.
Yes, we set our minimum order value at £50.00 exclusive of VAT.  In order for our team to handle your order the value must meet this amount, or our team will place your order on hold and only release once a further order is placed together to meet this minimum value.  There are exceptions on this but our team reserve the right to add £15.00 to an order that is below this minimum order value.
 
As a large distributor, we are able to handle and support larger enquiries.  We would encourage you to ask our sales team for improved pricing for larger volume enquiries.
Our warehouse team will always do all possible to meet urgent requests but ultimately we are governed by the collection times of the daily couriers we use.  We reccommend that orders are placed as early in the day as possible to ensure that these are despatched without delay.  Orders received after 13.00 UK time, may not be packed ready to despatch on the sameday as order receipt.  This is also subject to the credit terms agreed with your account.  We ask that you inform our sales team of any special requests relating to your order/delivery to ensure a smooth delivery service.
Multi-lite are based close to many courier transport hubs and we despatch based on offering a next day service as standard.  Some larger shipments may be offered on a slightly longer delivery schedule but this will be informed by our sales team at the point of order.  
 
If you would prefer to arrange to collect from our warehouse facility, then we work to typical working hours of 09.00 – 17.30 Monday-Friday.
 
Due to the fragile nature of the products we offer, we do not offer POST as a delivery option.
 
All shipments are despatched using nationwide courier networks and all will require a signature at the point of delivery.
Multi-lite offers an Ex-Works option for orders that are to be despatched outside of the UK.  We use the major couriers to provide competitive rates if you would like us to quote shipping rates.  Following Brexit, all additional customs clearance and duty charges will need to be considered.

Most of the orders we process are business addresses, but we are able to deliver to residential addresses also.  For some logistical areas, there may be additional fees to add, our sales team will inform you at the point of your order if additional charges are to be added.

Yes, we would be happy to arrange to deliver your order directly to a 3rd party address.  Depending on the package size/weight and location, there may be additional fees to add to the cost of the shipment. 

To include your own paperwork with the shipment, we would ask that you send a copy through to our office to print off and add to the shipment prior to despatch.

 

Yes, our couriers offer these additional service options which our sales team can discuss with you at the time of your order.

We offer clients free carriage for orders that exceed £200.00 net value*.  This is subject to your order being available in stock and within certain conditions of weight/size of the shipment.

*Free carriage is based on standard carton size shipments of less than 1.2m over 2 sides of the shipment and less than 30kg volumetric weight.

Charges for orders below £200.00 net start from £12.00 net, and can increase depending on the size/weight and location of the delivery.  Our sales team will advise of any additional fees at the point of order.

We aim to deliver your order complete from stock.  There may be occasions that certain items may not be in stock to complete in one shipment and your order will be held in backorder.

We will advise you once the item arrives to stock and hold the order to ship with your next shipment.

If you require the item quicker and/or have no other orders pending, then our sales team will release your order for despatch at the soonest opportunity.

Multi-lite have a fully stocked warehouse at and office based close to Heathrow, London.  Our stock levels are based on historic transactions and our forecast for ongoing transactions. 

As we trade with so many suppliers/manufacturers, it is not always possbile to carry every single item in bulk for immediate delivery.  In these instances, we have excellent terms with our supply partners and receive regular shipments meaning that the delay should only be temporary.

We would always reccommend discussing any larger volume or bulk enquries with our sales team to discuss possible options on stock.

Multi-lite distribute so many suppliers, manufacturers products that offering a price list for everything is not practical.

There are certain products that we do offer a price list against and we can share this on request with you.

Any other products that you may require, we would be happy to provide a quotation or price file for you to work with.

It is not our company policy to operate ongoing price changes, but we do have to reflect changes to prices and changes to currency rates to update some of our prices.  Where we make a written offer to you, the price will be valid for the duration of the offer period. 

Our prices will include any WEEE (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Fees) that are charged on many lines.

Multi-lite welcome larger bulk orders and our sales team will provide ‘spot’ pricing based on the quantity and product type for you to consider.

This would be a one-off offer and will be valid for the time period advised.

Multi-lite work only with major industry suppliers and manufacturers and offer the warranty offered by each of these individually.

Each manufacturer offers it’s own level of warranty from 1year through to 5 years on some products.

Our team can advise the warranty offered on the products with your enquiry/order.
